About the app

SYNTHLUCIDA VEHICLE LOGBOOK is a free electronic mileage log. For each trip you record the date, vehicle, purpose, route and odometer reading — the distance is calculated automatically.

How it’s calculated: the distance driven is odometer at end − odometer at start. The app then keeps running summaries by trip purpose (business, private, commute) and by vehicle.

All calculations run right in your browser — nothing is stored on a server, so entries stay only on your device. To move data between your phone and computer, use the JSON export and import.

Service log: alongside your trips you can also record servicing, inspections, tyre changes, insurance or a road-toll vignette — always with a date, price, and optionally a next due date. An upcoming or overdue date is highlighted in the list.

This app is intended as a helper record of trips and servicing. For tax and accounting purposes, we recommend backing up your entries regularly and consulting an accountant where needed.

How does the electronic mileage log work?
For each trip you enter the date, vehicle, purpose, where you drove from and to, and the odometer reading at the start and end. The distance is calculated automatically, and summaries are kept for the month and overall.
Where is the data stored?
All entries stay only in your browser. To back up or move data to another device, use the JSON export and import it on the other device.
Can the vehicle logbook be used for more than one car?
Yes, every entry has a Vehicle field, so you can log trips for several vehicles and filter them by vehicle.
How do I export the mileage log for tax purposes?
The Export CSV or Export PDF button in the Trip Entries section gives you a clear table of all trips, which you can print or pass along.
What is the service log for?
In the service log you record servicing, inspections, tyre changes, insurance or a road-toll vignette for a specific vehicle — with a date, price, and optionally a next due date. A date that’s coming up (within 30 days) or overdue is highlighted in colour in the list, so nothing slips by.
