SYNTHLUCIDA TRIP COST is a free web calculator that works out how much a car trip will cost you. Just enter the distance, your vehicle\u2019s average consumption and the current fuel or electricity price.

How it\u2019s calculated: fuel used is calculated as distance ÷ 100 × consumption per 100 km, and the cost as fuel used × price per liter/kWh. Additional costs, such as a toll sticker or parking, can be added to the result, and the total can be split between everyone in the car.

The app works for petrol, diesel, LPG and electric vehicles. All calculations run directly in your browser, nothing is stored on a server – saved routes stay only on your device.

The calculated amount is an estimate based on the values entered. Actual costs may vary depending on driving style, terrain, weather or the current fuel price.
Frequently asked questions
How is the cost of a car trip calculated?
The distance is divided by 100 and multiplied by the consumption per 100 km, giving the amount of fuel used. This is multiplied by the price per liter or kWh, and any additional costs are added.
How do I find out my car\u2019s fuel consumption?
You can find it in the vehicle registration document or on the on-board computer. As a guide: 6\u20138 l/100 km petrol, 5\u20137 l/100 km diesel, 15\u201320 kWh/100 km EV.
Does the calculator work for electric vehicles?
Yes \u2013 switch the fuel type to Electric and enter the consumption in kWh/100 km and the price of electricity per kWh.
Can the calculator split the cost between passengers?
Yes, enter the number of people in the car and the cost per person is calculated automatically.
