What Dělňas does

Dělňas is a free work output and pay log for piece-rate and quota-based jobs. The app doesn't come with any quotas built in — you set up your own tasks, sizes/grades and wage tiers to match your workplace. After each shift you log what you did, how many pieces/kilos and in how many hours, and based on your ladder the app calculates your estimated earnings, hourly pay, game XP/level and trend charts. The whole app runs right in your browser and nothing you enter into it is sent to any server.

What data the app collects

The app collects no personal data, and nothing you enter into it is sent to any server. Specifically:

There's no registration, login or accounts.
No Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cookies. For basic anonymous visitor statistics the app uses only GoatCounter (details below).
No ads from ad networks. The only promotion in the app is a link to our own project RelaxPlayer — it's a plain link and nothing third-party is loaded because of it.
Everything you type into the app — shifts, tasks, wage tables, notes — never leaves it.

Visitor statistics (GoatCounter)

So that we know how many people use Dělňas, the app sends an anonymous visit record to GoatCounter when it opens — open-source, privacy-focused web analytics. GoatCounter doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across websites and doesn't store your IP address.

Only the following is recorded:

the page visited and where you came from (referrer),
browser and operating system type, screen width and browser language,
approximate location at country level (derived from your IP address, which itself isn't stored),
the number of clicks on the RelaxPlayer link and the number of app installs to the home screen — only as a total count.

To recognise unique visits, GoatCounter keeps a combination of IP address and browser in memory for at most 8 hours, then discards it. The content of the app — shifts, wages, notes — never ends up in the statistics.

If you block the statistics (e.g. with an ad blocker), the app works exactly the same. For details see GoatCounter's privacy policy.

Browser storage (localStorage)

The app saves the following to your browser's localStorage (i.e. locally on your device, not on a server):

Your logged shifts (date, tasks, quantities, hours worked, notes).
Your own settings — tasks, sizes/grades, wage tiers and shift length.
Your chosen currency and color theme.
The date until which the app shouldn't offer home-screen installation again (if you postpone it with “Not now”).

This data never leaves your browser and the app can't access it from anywhere else. Clearing the site data in your browser settings removes all of it; the “Delete all data” button in the app deletes your logged shifts.

The Czech version of the app (delnas.html) uses the same data on the same device.

Backup export (JSON), wage table export and CSV/PDF export all work by offering the file for download straight to your device — nothing is sent anywhere, the whole process happens in your browser.

External resources

Dělňas doesn't load any external fonts — it only uses your device's system fonts. The only external element is GoatCounter's small script (gc.zgo.at/count.js), which sends the anonymous visit record to delnas.goatcounter.com. Apart from that, nothing is sent from your browser to any third-party server.
